Art contributes several objects that are inspirational to a variety of people. Sculptures are a specific object that may inspire multiple people through art. The sculpture of the Head of Alexander the Great is an inspirational work of art that was generated between 25000 BCE and 1400 AD.

There is a lot that is unknown about the Head of Alexander the Great sculpture. The exact sculptor is unknown. No possibilities of who it may be have been revealed either. Because the artist is unknown the place that it was created is also unknown. In addition to this the exact date that it was sculpted is unknown.

The only time revealed on the sculpture is 336-323 BCE. This is not the date of creation. This date is actually the date that the man depicted in the sculpture served as king. During this time he served as king of Macedon. (Abbott) It is possible that the sculpture was created during this period in his honor. However, it has not been confirmed.
