The E-Business revolution came from the USA with Amazon, first e-commerce website. The E-Business market has been constantly growing since its creation in 1994. Indeed, the number of E-Business websites has been increasing continuously and the volume of online purchases too. More and more consumers are shifting to online buying, at the expense of the classic retailing industry, which pushes the companies to adopt e-commerce in their business model too. The evolution of technology plays an essential role in this development. Indeed, the progress made on the ICT (Information and Communication Technology) are the source of this E-revolution. New technological advances (flash code, mobile phone payment?) open tremendous opportunities in the business world. The future of E-Business is quite unpredictable in the long-term as we don't know yet how the technology is going to evolve. However, one thing is absolutely sure: to enjoy a long-term success, the challenge for E-Business actors is to guarantee the security and the confidentiality of the customer's information.
