It is a widely accepted fact that new technologies and innovations, particularly the Internet access and its boom, has contributed to the modification in the communication field between players in the professional world including the strong bond and relationship between the company and its customers, the employer-employee relationship, and finally, the company's relationship with its unending partners and suppliers. ?E-Business' or ?E-Technology' is the integration, with the company and its tools and techniques based on information technology and communication. The purpose of E-Business was to improve the functioning and effectiveness of communication in order to create value for itself, its customers and its partners at large. E-Business is no longer applicable only to virtual enterprises but is widely applied to traditional business enterprises. E-business is an extension and to an extent much more than e-commerce. Another well known concept to be highlighted in this area is that e-business refers to a strategic focus with an emphasis on the functions that arise with the use of high-end electronic capabilities. E-commerce is a subset of an overall e-business strategy. It seeks to add revenue streams by using the World Wide Web or the Internet to create, enrich and enhance relationships between clients and partners. In this manner, a significant improvement in efficiency and precision will be noticed. Further, the implementation of the ?Empty Vessel strategy' has proved beneficial to companies especially during globalization. In a nutshell, one can state that e-commerce revolves around the application of knowledge management systems. Through the application and implementation of special technical standards for e-business, the facilitation of the exchange of data between companies is permissible. E-business software solutions permit the integration of intra and inter firm business processes. E-business can be conducted using the Web, the internet, intranets, extranets, or even a combination of these.
