Like Morocco, other countries began developing in Europe many years ago. Europe saw its history and its strategic geographic location taking an important place in world history. These international relations have to be aware of technological development.

"The world today lives on civilizational developments, and scientific and technological fundamentals. Each passing day brings its share of novelties. Among the notable changes, the changing systems of production and consumption patterns, the emergence of new information technologies and communication and the rapid development of services, will amplify globalization. It will also amplify the globalization of markets and the internationalization of the stakeholders."

Morocco is aware of the fact that the global information society will achieve its place, based on national resources in terms of network (Internet), information and stored skills content products. Expertise of individuals and legal entities may rely on these networks and information to increase their competitiveness. It faces huge obstacles to fit into the world of information technology, particularly the Internet. These barriers are common among the majority of third world countries, namely illiteracy, poverty of the population, etc. when compared to the costs of connection and unawareness of the benefits that can generate using this tool in all industries.

The new era of information technology and communication has revolutionized the management processes in many areas especially electronic commerce. Today, computers have become the engine of the economy.

With the commercialization of the Internet in the 90s and its rapid growth, the term electronic commerce has been established, and the applications of the buying and selling of products or services online were released rapidly around the world. Electronic commerce is now a bridge to the development of technologies taking into account that we are in the era of technical challenges that offer new jobs and accelerate the communication to create job opportunities. In addition, electronic commerce is a way that reduces product costs and increases incomes. In short, it's a way to communicate, invest, serve individuals and companies through Internet transactions.

[...] To conclude, we can say that in Morocco, e-commerce faces many challenges regarding payment methods and especially on the perception of insecurity that exists among consumers, this involves effort on the part of the State that handles such transactions in Morocco (particularly telecommerce). As and when we succeed in building confidence among consumers regarding safety and privacy among other concerns, it can be argued that electronic commerce could revolutionize the purchasing behavior of Moroccans.
