This document shows the various international crises that preceded the First World War. The two Moroccan crises of 1905 and 1912 are thus brought to light. These are those in the Balkans (1908-1913) and that of summer 1914 which led to global conflict. The interest in this subject emerges in an effort to understand why the crisis of August 1914 was first overlooked as an ordinary international tension.
