    2. The post-Cold War saw the emergence of new types of low intensity conflicts
  4. Conclusion

The night of April 23rd, 2010 marked a new stage in the violent confrontations between the 'red shirts' i.e. the supporters of the former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra (who is in exile) and the 'colorless' who are the supporters of Prime Minister Abhisit. This confrontation resulted the death of one and injured 88 people. It was a reminder of the confrontation of April 11th that killed 26 and wounded 800.
