The Weimar Republic and Nazism were born from the German defeat and a development in an antagonistic way: Denial of defeat and democratic conceptions of the Weimar Republic's liberals were the consequences. Thus the history of Nazism developed against the account of the Weimar Republic. For Kershaw there were three stages in the development of Nazism. Germany required the armistice but was forced to capitulate without conditions. Germany was stabbed in the back by the civilians and the soldiers. Germany was the only country in charge of the war and on June 28th, 1919 it had to ratify without negotiating the Treaty of Versailles. It lost its colonies, the army was limited to 100,000 men. We will recapitulate the situation in Germany after the treaty.

-The conquest of the head of the party in the late 20s was in keeping with the different currents of the völkish law and adopted the method of organizing Führerprinzip.
-The scope of the hearing beyond völkish trends especially in the early 30s to the point of winning the election with third of the votes that put him in position to demand power, since he alone was able to rally the masses (according to Hitler).
-The conquest of the Nazi elite not a priori that are suspicious but are close to the government under the Weimar Republic

1919 - Who is Hitler?

He was born on April 20, 1889 in Braunau into a poor but not miserable family. He spent her childhood under the strict discipline of an elderly father who retired in 1895 (Hitler was 6 years old). In January 1903 his father died, followed by his mother on December 21, 1907. Hitler was a mediocre student with regard to his entry to the Realschule in Linz and Vienna; he arrived in 1907 at the age of 19 years with the ambition of becoming a painter or architect. But it refused twice at the Academy of Fine Arts. Having squandered the savings left by his mother he led a life of complete idleness and sloth and laziness contributing to a rapid decline and so from 1909 to 1913 he led a life as a Vienna tramp, begging, eating at the soup kitchen, sleeping in night shelters and subsisting miserably through the sale of small paintings.

In Vienna he discovers his policy in this cosmopolitan city where German nationalism tried to oppose the rise of workers' demands and aspirations of the people with regard to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Hitler, adheres to these ideas and consider them as established truths including the idea that life is a struggle in which the most talented win, he dvelops a hostility to democracy and especially Socialism, a leveler that prevents the triumph of the best, which is latent anti-Semitism and the environment that will become the key to Hitler's explanation of the world, the exaltation of the German nation, which he considered inherently superior to others.
