Event planning is a service business with approximately $500 billion business worldwide in present day. Profit margins have gone up from an average of about 15% to 35%. Event planners are greatly in demand because the common people have neither the time required nor the expertise to organize successful events (Kimball, 2011, p. 23). The range of services offered by event planners is enormous.

Create a Dream Event planning is the name of my dream business in event planning. Through my previous experience with event management companies, the tricks of the industry are now at my fingertips and backed up by my event management degree then my business heads for success. The target market for this organization is large. It ranges from companies to charities to non-profit making organizations that are famous for hosting fundraisers, athletic competitions and receptions among other major events, which boost their public support base as well as raise funds. Private individuals are also targets since they also host picnics, parties, weddings, birthdays among other important events to mark transition and development in their personal lives. Events classification is either personal or corporate, and skills to manage a successful event planning organization are an absolute necessity (Kimball, 2011, p. 34).
