Flawless consulting refers to the consistent pursuit of perfection and observable impact in the practice of offering professional advice and guidance to organizational management teams, operational units and sponsors. Basically, flawless consulting is a complex discipline. Thus, like any other professional discipline, flawless consulting is a process that is founded within the principles of objectivity, validity, timeliness and technical capabilities. Ruth and Rodriguez (2007) defined a consultant as an individual or firm which specializes on influencing organizational activities through a framework designed to achieve targeted results. Organizations hire either internal or external consultants, depending on the nature and urgency of activities within and without the organizations.Consultancy professions induce lacking expertise, facilitation and process consultation through an independent platform to enable the client organization achieve perfection in the achievement of goals and objectives.

This phase must be marked by a detailed report of the progress made at each and every stage of the previous phases. Any contractual extensions must be done under new terms so as to take into consideration findings made from the previous process. This may stretch to changing the project team so as to increase the technical and skill capacity of the team to handle the new or extended responsibilities. [...]

[...] The basics of Flawless Consulting The bottom line in any consulting process is that the views and approach of a consultant should be unique to what the client already does or knows or else, the significance of consulting would be blurred. Consultancy is applicable to wide ranging organizational processes which include but not limited to project management, process facilitation, program evaluation, planning, systems collaborations, technical appraisals, communications networking, spreadsheet management, strategy analysis and data processing. In many instances, these processes usually represent different phases in organizational activities, a situation which makes consultants develop contractual relationships with clients with the objective of complying with specific needs at specific times. [...] Basing the choice of team members on only technical qualifications and disregarding specific skills may spell doom for the entire consulting process. Thus, the team leader must ultimately pool skills for meaningful and successful consulting process. The following are some of the steps which a team leader can observe while selecting a team for a consulting process: 1. Carefully examine the tasks at hand and determine both the set of skills and styles of working required for systematic and complimentary mix Equip each team member with the goals and vision of the team as well as the expected levels of participation of each individual Provide guidance to the team during the initial stages especially in terms of explaining operational regulations and role definition for each individual Provide orientation for using process tools and equipments such as software systems, information systems or communication protocols Closely monitor progress to ensure team cohesion and movement towards the achievement of goals Appreciate team successes whenever evident Facilitate the transition of team members from the old team relationships to new ones after dissolution of a team upon the successful completion of a consulting project.
