World War II for Americans was considered by most to be ?the good war?, it got the United States out of the depression and American patriotism and pride were at an all time high. Core values of Americans such as honesty, freedom, pride, peace, hope, and liberty were written in streamers across the country. Men and women from all sorts of backgrounds were doing their part to help win the war and make the world a better place.
