It should be noted that Americans have a cooperative spirit, the feeling of being in a young country, to be the flagship of the world. It is a country steeped in a federal structure. The bipartisan US is very strong, even more than Britain. The reason is the American mentality, which does not transmit to question its lifestyle. If one relies on the theory of Montesquieu, the American system is not sustainable: It is a rigid separation of powers. There is no mechanism for resolving conflicts. The executive and legislative branches could then set themselves up as tyrants. We must understand the internal logic of the American system to determine whether the importation of the American system into France would be viable.
