  1. European's law has three different kinds of sources
  2. The legislative process includes three different actors: the Council, the European Commission and the European Parliament

The European Union was created in 1992 by the Maastricht treaty. It is a structure which includes the European Community and its law which is by far the most important of EU laws and deals with economic and social rights. In addition to it, other sources of law complete the EU law such as the CFSP which concerns foreign and security policies and police and juridical co-operation. We will look in detail into these aspects in this document.
