Of late there has been an upsurge of violent natural phenomena such as cyclones, tsunamis and landslides. Not only are the number of natural disasters increasing, but their level of destruction appears to have increased tenfold. Experts have agreed that this is caused by human activities that cause disturbances in the environment such as the emission of toxic gases and hazardous substances.
Since the beginning of the industrial age, man began the race for consumption, this improved the quality of life but has also caused irreversible damage to nature by exploiting its resources and polluting it with chemicals.
