She said the Americans try to help other peoples to free themselves from an oppressor as they had to do with the British government.
After they lived in the New World, the Puritans decided that they wanted a regime that was driven by social purity. This was in conflict with Old Europe. Considered to be 'God's chosen people', the Puritans are often compared to the Hebrews who arrived in the Holy Land.
