The Russian psychologist, Ivan Pavlov, paved the way for what is classified as classical conditioning. He brought it into existence through the extensive work, experimentation, and studies that he bore throughout his career. One aspect of the life of Pavlov that most individuals do not know is that as most boy's do they try to pursue in their father's career choose by and Pavlov's father was a priest. As we all know he altered his verdict and embarked into the study physiology which he obviously excelled in. This was an intelligent choice by the facts that his work within the physiology of digestion produced a noble Prize for him. At this time Pavlov was carrying out inquiries on the workings of the canine digestive arrangement by means of the data received from dog's salivation. Accidentally, as these experiments were performed he unintentionally exposed that certain behaviors can be conditioned (Riskind, & Manos)

Formerly the assumption that an individual's response was due to complex biased progression. The key discovery that Pavlov concluded was that numerous reactions by individuals were the occurrence of former learning within that individual's life. Acquiring this was imperative to understanding was completed completely by accident. Offering food specifically meat, to the subject K-9's created them to salivate even before they received it.

Also because the K-9's reaction is to sit when there is use of these conditioned stimuli, the response the K-9 has is also considered conditioned.
