Myths and heroes
- Those people who influence our lives everyday
- Those people who changed the world's history
- Those people society can't live without
The notion I'm going to talk about is Myths and heroes. A myth can be defined as a popular belief embodying the ideals of a society. From a myth births a hero which is a superhuman known by his fabulous deeds. But nowadays, a modern hero can also be an anonymous person admired for his noble qualities and good deeds. To illustrate this notion, I studied the myths of American dream and Thanksgiving but also the athletes of Paralympic games like Oscar Pistorius.
