George Best was born in East Belfast on 22nd May 1946. Even from a young age his parents, Anne and Dickie, acknowledged George's passion for football. He was a Northern Ireland International football player. He was married twice with Angela Douglas-James who died in 1986 and with Alex Pusey who too unfortunately died as well in 2004. He had one son, Calum, with Angela.

There is not one hesitation that George Best was a mastermind in the game. He will always be remembered for the glory days whilst playing for Manchester United; his exhilarating performances for his national team, Northern Ireland, and of course his love for the good life.

[...] The relatively mischievous 17 year old, with merely one professional game under his buckle, alleged that he would play only if they fly him back to Belfast straight after the game. The club agreed. George knew at that moment, that he was ?something special?, although he had to prove it. And it was during that match he drew his mark, his talent towards the border of the Club. That night, the club knew they had not made a tiny mistake on ongoing George's wish. George had scored his first goal under the United shirt. During his 466 appearances he scored 378 goals. [...]

[...] George Best was Manchester United's top scorer for six consecutive seasons. He broke a world record by scoring 6 goals in one match. But he was 27 years old when he was sacked from Manchester United for excessive drinking and failing to turn up to some training sessions and even matches. After from being sacked from Manchester United, he played in several football clubs in Scotland, America and even Australia. He played for three clubs in the USA: Los Angeles Aztecs, Fort Lauderdale Strikers and San Jose Earthquakes. [...]
