The subject of international human resource management (IHRM) is becoming ever more critical for more and more organizations. The world of intern?tion?l business m?y, of course, not involves IHRM: it is not relev?nt in, for ex?mple, the spre?d of fr?nchising oper?tions ?nd the growth of conglomer?tes which h?ve no str?tegic objective of m?ximizing their intern?tion?l oper?tions. But for most enterprises including hotel ?nd hospit?lity industry intern?tion?liz?tion equ?tes with ?n incre?singly import?nt role for IHRM ?nd necessity to ?d?pt HR pr?ctices to loc?l needs.
